{Patchwork} ZigZag Quilt

I just can't get over it, how much I love this quilt. 120 half square triangles later, I have this amazing quilt ready to be sewn together. I am also really enjoying my flannel layout wall my mother was hiding from me.  I had all these grand ideas for hanging up my quilts like putting a large carpet remnant on my wall, a large cork board, and just about everything else I could think of. Then, just the other night my mother told me she had a flannel layout wall, with a PVC frame that I may use. What good news! It even has legs, so it stand on it's own. This is the first quilt I laid out on the wall and it sure makes the whole process easy, fast and much more enjoyable. Especially since I have Nikita, my cat, who loves to run in quick, roll on her back, "fluff" up my blocks and the order they were in. I also have my golden retriever, Seuss, who just has to be at my feet when I'm sewing which means he's laying on whatever I have laid out and am working on.

Since I have these two around all the time, the wall is a big help! Anyways, here is my zigzag quilt that I love. I left the rows in color order instead of mixing up them up. I have been obsessed with gradient color formations and fading color to color lately. I will start sewing this one this weekend and I'll have it done soon. I'll keep you updated.

Happy Stitching xx
