Hello again...

I know I've been away for quite some time...where does the time go?! Right after my last post, I returned from Quilt market and hit the ground running. We (my mother and our shop) spent 3 weeks in November teaching over 300 ladies at Camp Lebanon sewing retreat, where we also had a second shop open pretty much 24/7...sewers never sleep! We took an ordinary room from this:
After returning home (and catching up on lost sleep) we returned to Lebanon mid December as sewers...not teachers. All the girls in my family go to sew, craft and spend time with Grandma Lou. I got a ton done over the long weekend:
Upon returning home, I didn't have much time to finish a quilt for a client (posting pictures soon) before I headed to Jackson Hole, WY for a few weeks over Christmas. It was nice to get away and it was a much needed break! I haven't been out west skiing in a few years (which my legs told me a few days in) and even though the snow wasn't the best, it was amazing to ski big mountain again.
When I returned home I went to work on a memory quilt for another client that had to be done in 2 weeks. It turned out so so amazing and she loved it!
Then on January 31st I turned 26...I officially felt old and still do.
Since then I've been sewing samples for the shop and working on our re-model. Its such a long process...I can't wait until my bathroom is done and we have trim! We were able to put our dock in last night and had our first summer campfire...on the first day of spring. Amazing weather here in MN!

You were busy, busy, busy at Camp Lebanon! I love that place - have been going for probably 10 years now. Was fortunate enough to be there a weekend you guys had your shop set up in the game room - I loved having all my favorite fabric just a few steps away!
